Shopping Guide: Our Top 5 Favourite Etsy Shops is a great resource for unique gifts and home decor purchases. Like everyone, we have our favourite Etsy Shops. We thought we'd share our top 5 (in no particular order). Some we've bought from, and others are just a purchase away.

A great one stop shop for vintage prints at a reasonable price. Buy your favourite prints preframed or on their own. Get the Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware look at a lower price tag! Below is their Ernst Haeckel Red Medusa Jellyfish Antique Science Illustration Art Print (Tafel 46).

Looking for a great gift for your hubby, a recently married friend, oooor maybe just for yourself? Teals Prairie offers a range of great high end gifts at a low price, all of which can be personalized or monogrammed at your request. They have everything from scotch glasses, wood trays, to leather portfolios. We're eyeing this Personalized Wood Tray with Decanter and Whiskey Rocks Glasses for our next gift purchase.

There are literally thousands of pillow shops on Etsy, but we particularly like Motif Pillows for their prices and well known fabric patterns. The handmade covers range roughly from $40-80 depending on the fabric grades and we've seen everything from Robert Allen to Mary McDonald's fabrics grace their pillow designs. Below is their Blue Ivory Cabana Stripe Pillow Cover for $49.19 CDN.

We bought four prints from them about a year ago. Many of their prints hover around the $10-20 mark, which is great on your wallet. Our favourite buy from them was this Eames Chair printed on vintage dictionnary paper, but they also have many sports related vintage prints which make for a great gift for the dudes out there.

Do you ever gaze at Restoration Hardware's impressive framed vintage maps and then sigh when you actually see the 1k plus price tag? No? Well we do. Image Rich has an impressive selection of Vintage worldwide prints. Some are US States, others are cities, and then some are World Maps from the past. Many of the prints are giclee prints on museum quality acid free archival paper. They look great and their price point is even better! I dare you to find their maps at a better price. Below is a sample of a Vintage World Map from 1507 sold in their shop.
