Toronto is chalk full of tasty restaurant destinations, but few seem to have the design to live up to the food they serve. Enter the Distillery Districts, Cluny Bistro. This is perhaps one of the most successfully design interior restaurant spaces we've come across in a long time. The attention to detail is astounding, from the various overlapping materials and textures, to the many program-based dining sections.
The restaurant was designed by Toronto Interior Designers Munge Leung, known for their work in luxury hospitalitity, food and beverage commercial spaces.
We highly encourage you to drop in, its interiors are one of a kind. Everytime I go I feel like I notice a new detail I hadn't previously caught the last visit. If you are not willing to foot a larger tab, we suggest the bistro's boulangerie counter (to the left when you walk in) that sells tasty take away sandwiches and quick crepes. It's right next to our 9-5 job and we eat there all the time! We have yet to be disappointed!
Check out our assortment of pretty pictures of the restaurant - the bar area with its many guiled mirror walls is our favourite space. What's yours?
