We're sorry we've been so behind on posts lately... Work has just been some kind of crazy lately without a spare moment to bloglove. So, to get back in the groove we've put together a new edition of our High to Low (just because our budgets are little, doesn't mean yours are too!). We've been eyeing sputnik fixtures for one of our hospitality clients, and now we want one of our own.
We particularly love it not only for its great looks and light spread, but also because of the historical queues it references. It's been named after the first satellite ever successfully launched by the Soviet Union in 1957, Sputnik 1 (source). Below is an image of Sputnik 1.
