What’s Coming Up

Updated: Apr 20, 2020

Atelier DPC Inc. was founded in early 2018. Since then, our team has been working towards building a portfolio we can be proud of.

We offer both architecture and interiors services. We think your project's interior should reflect the same language as your exterior aesthetic. As such, we love projects where we can offer both. We do nonetheless have a number of projects that are solely interior design/ decorating projects and others in which we are engaged to focus solely on an architectural scope.

As most who work in our industry know, interior projects can be much quicker in their turn around than architectural projects. When it comes to residential architectural work, especially within the confines of the dense City of Toronto, you're bound to need to go through a fair bit of approvals to get to the finish line. These can include planning reviews, City Committee of Adjustment Hearings, Building Permits and Building Inspections. All these checkpoints, result in projects which are a labour of love and don't get approved overnight.

As a result, we thought we'd outline what we have coming down the pipeline. We've had our fair share of projects since we opened our doors in 2018, however, many are just coming out of the lengthy approvals stages and looking to start construction this Summer 2020 (this now pending the Covid-19 related impacts).

Below is a status update on some of the projects we have underway:

The Heritage Farmhouse

This project received its Building Permits just prior to the emergency province-wide lockdown for Covid-19. The client's have a GC tee'd up and ready to start as soon as the lockdown restrictions on construction are lifted.

Vern Lake House

This project is a neat one. We are working with our team of engineers to get this project out for Building Permit as soon as building officials for Kawartha Lakes are back in office. It is a large three storey lake house, with an indoor pool and six car garage. The aesthetic is quite sleek and modern. Think glass, lots and lots of glass, to capture those beautiful lake views.

Stacklab Collaborations

We love working with the Stacklab team on some of their projects. Next week, one of the longstanding country houses we've been helping them out with will be going for Building Permit. It's a major interior renovation of a lakeside house in the heart of Prince Edward County, with a minor addition.

East York Medical Office

We will be fitting up an existing 2,100 sf space, which formerly served as laboratory space, into a new medical office. We're in the design development phase on this one, but it will move quickly once we get final sign-off on the plans.
