Melander Architects Inc. is an NYC-based architecture firm. We originally came across this final backyard shot by chance and when we started digging to find the architect of the house we stumble on this hyper talented firm. The firm was retained by a reoccurring client to help renovate and breathe new life into this townhouse which had previously been subdivided into a multi-tenant space.
The remodel of this 1852 Greenwich Village townhouse, was tastefully approached with what looks like a mid-century modern nod. As someone whose background stems primarily from architecture, we particularly loved the architects sublte walnut cutouts in the back elevation's facade.
